Benjamin Cox: Producer, Writer & Director

Benjamin Cox is the founder of Red Square Pictures, a New York-based film production & commercial content company.

In narrative work, Mr. Cox’s Red Square Pictures feature film Better Off Single, an NYC dating comedy that he produced, wrote & directed starring Aaron Tveit, Abby Elliott, Lauren Miller Rogen, Kal Penn, Chris Elliott, Lewis Black and Annaleigh Ashford, was released theatrically in the fall of 2016.

Another RSP feature project that Mr. Cox produced, Change in the Air, received a fall 2018 theatrical release. An ethereal dramedy directed by Dianne Dreyer, Change in the Air stars Mary Beth Hurt, Aidan Quinn, Rachel Brosnahan, Macy Gray and Olympia Dukakis.

His latest RSP feature film, The Mimic, a dark comedy about a non-violent sociopath, received a theatrical release in 2021. Produced by Mr. Cox, The Mimic stars Thomas Sadoski, Jake Robinson, Gina Gershon, Austin Pendleton, Jessica Keenan Wynn, M. Emmet Walsh and Jessica Walter.

Mr. Cox’s upcoming RSP narrative projects include episodic drama Fortune Sun, a modern-day retelling of an ancient Chinese legend; Young Patton, an epic chronicling of the American warrior family from colonial Revolutionaries to the WWII battlefield genius of General George S. Patton; Last Resort, an ensemble comedy about luxury, tropical resorts and the value of honesty; and science fiction thriller Aubrey.C17_β, a film also written and to be directed by Mr. Cox.

In the commercial/fashion space, a fashion film that Mr. Cox produced, wrote & directed, David Gandy’s Goodnight, was created in collaboration with David Schwimmer’s production company, Dark Harbor Stories. Named by Fashion Film Network as the second most-watched fashion film on earth the month of its YouTube release, David Gandy’s Goodnight also achieved a second place finish at the Fashion Film Awards held shortly thereafter during the Cannes Film Festival. Roman Polanski’s fashion film, A Therapy, finished in first place at the FFAs, while projects finishing behind Mr. Cox’s included fashion films directed by Wes Anderson, Roman Coppola, Baz Luhrmann and Martin Scorsese.

Tracey Becker: Producer

As a producer, screenplay consultant and dramaturge, Tracey Becker has worked with many of today's best writers, including Allan Knee, Christopher Durang, Murray Schisgal, David Magee, Mitchell P. Ganem, Terri Edda Miller, Stephen and Jonah Lisa Dyer, and Brian Edgar.

Ms. Becker's first feature film, Miramax's Finding Neverland, was directed by Marc Forster and starred Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. It marked the culmination of Ms. Becker's extensive development efforts, both having optioned the play on which it was based and having developed the screenplay with Oscar-nominated writer David Magee. After winning the National Board of Review's prestigious "Film of the Year" award, Finding Neverland was nominated for seven Academy Awards, including for Best Adapted Screenplay and for Best Picture.

Her latest film, Hysteria, a Victorian romantic comedy directed by Tanya Wexler and starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, Hugh Dancy, Felicity Jones, Rupert Everett and Jonathan Pryce, was released by Sony Pictures Classics.

Ms. Becker's upcoming projects include Losing Jerry, a coming-of-age tale set in the '80s featuring the music of The Grateful Dead, and Urban Asylum, about a young man's struggles with schizophrenia as he investigates a violent crime. She is also producer on Red Square Pictures NYC dating comedy dating comedy Better Off Single, which is set to be theatrically released in the fall of 2016.

Ms. Becker was a founding member and the director of development of Stellar Network, and she currently sits on the Board of Directors of both the New Hampshire Film Festival and the LA literacy charity From The Heart.

Russell Carpenter, ASC: Executive Producer & Visual Consultant

Russell Carpenter, ASC is an Academy Award-winning cinematographer who has worked with many of Hollywood's best directors (Robert Benton, James Cameron, the Farrelly brothers, Martin Scorsese, John Woo, et. al.) on a wide range of films known throughout the world.

Mr. Carpenter has been recognized for excellence in cinematography by a virtual who's who list of institutions within his craft, including the American Society of Cinematographers, BAFTA, the British Society of Cinematographers, all of the Chicago, Florida and Las Vegas Film Critics Associations, and by the Satellite Awards. He won the Oscar for Best Cinematography in 1998 for his work on Titanic, which remains the second highest grossing film of all time at nearly $2 billion.
